LT Metal Shares ESH Policy and Conducts Risk Assessment Training at September Assembly
LT Metal conducted risk assessment awareness training for employees and shared its Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) Policy during its September monthly assembly.
The training aimed to communicate the company’s ESH management direction and raise awareness of the importance of employee participation in workplace risk assessments. It covered the key elements of the company’s ESH Policy, risk assessment procedures, methods for identifying hazards and risk factors, and ways to share assessment results with employees.

Commitment to Safety and Environmental Management
During the assembly, LT Metal reaffirmed its ESH Policy, which places the safety and health of employees as its top priority.
The company is committed to prioritizing safety in all business activities and complying with its ESH management system and applicable laws and regulations to prevent serious workplace accidents. LT Metal also plans to establish a strong safety culture through the active participation of all employees and to maintain a safe and comfortable working environment.
In terms of environmental management, the company continues to develop eco-friendly products, prioritize the purchase of eco-friendly materials, and reduce the use of hazardous chemicals. LT Metal also establishes ESH objectives to address risks arising from environmental changes and periodically evaluates the implementation and performance of its improvement activities.
Employee Participation in Workplace Risk Assessments
The risk assessment training explained the overall process of identifying workplace hazards and risk factors, determining the level of risk, and establishing and implementing appropriate risk reduction measures.
The training emphasized that the participation of employees who perform the actual work is essential to conducting effective risk assessments. Employees who understand the work process and equipment can identify hazards that may otherwise be overlooked during inspections or document reviews.
Employees can report equipment abnormalities, unsafe work practices, and problems in the working environment through employee feedback forms, ESH improvement proposals, pre-work safety talks, and regular ESH workplace inspections; this input is then reflected in the risk assessment process.
Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and workplace environment monitoring results are also used to identify hazards and establish appropriate improvement measures. Based on the identified risks, the company determines improvement priorities and implements necessary actions, such as upgrading facilities or revising work procedures.
Sharing Results and Managing Improvements
LT Metal shares major risk assessment results and improvement actions with employees through workplace bulletin boards and training sessions. Employees are required to review the hazards related to their work and understand the necessary precautions and safety measures before beginning their tasks.
The training also highlighted that risk assessments should not be treated merely as paperwork. Employees must fully understand the assessment results and apply the required safety measures in the workplace. To confirm that the information has been properly communicated, employees are required to complete and sign the relevant acknowledgement forms.
LT Metal will continue to gather employee feedback to identify workplace hazards and risk factors and take corrective action. Through these efforts, the company aims to make risk assessment a regular part of daily safety activities and maintain an accident-free workplace.
